Proplica The Legend of Zelda Master Sword by Tamashii Nations – The Toyark

Tamashii Nations’ Proplica line produces high end replicas and props from our favorite series, movies and games. It takes the role play angle and amps it up, giving us centerpiece worthy items somewhere between what kids would get and the custom super expensive items that cosplayers and uber fans grab. They can also actually be used in the field, with durable construction, lights/sounds and more to make it a fun time when it isn’t sitting on your shelf or wall.

We’ve handled a couple in the past, including the Kingdom Hearts Keyblade and the Dragonball Z Dragon Radar (which is coming back out – EE link here #ad). Tamashii has been expanding the line over the years with pieces from Bleach, Demon Slayer, JUJUTSU KAISEN, Sailor Moon, Macross and more.

Today we are taking a look at a recent piece, the Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda. Link has had many over the years, but this one calls back to the original game as much as possible going from 8-bit Nintendo, and of course more modern releases like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. It’s 1:1 scale for you to wield and battle through your collection room, has a sheath, comes with a display stand for both of those – configurable to your liking, and if you pop some batteries in, it will play a selection of music from the series.

I’m not big on videos and Tamashii’s product shots do the piece well, but read on to check out some of our shots of it in hand. If you are into the Zelda games, it’s a great piece to add to the collection for sure. It’s due to start shipping States side in November 2024, but seems to be sold out many places online already, hit that search and snag one if you can find it!
