Make cooking Thanksgiving dinner a little easier with this simple, yet delicious, meal plan. It includes a doable menu, make-ahead tips, and ways to simplify cooking while feeding your family.
Every since I became a mom (over 12 years ago now, sheesh!), I’ve been doing holidays differently in order to both save my sanity in the days leading up to them and be able to enjoy the day itself. Which means I cook kid-friendly holiday meals spread out, rather than all at once, to pace myself. This works really well for me because I can cross one thing off at a time and then be left with really minimal work on the holiday itself.
Because with naps, travel, coordinating schedules, moods, feeding everyone every other meal, and just general life, it’s hard to pull everything off!
To help, I have a Thanksgiving meal plan to share with all YTF members today. It has a simple and yummy menu complete with a schedule of when to make what if you want to get a little ahead, storage information, and a grocery list. I put it together into a pdf so it’s completely ready for you. Sign up below to have it sent right to your inbox!
It includes:
- My go-to easy turkey
- Easy breakfast options
- Simple sides including green beans and toddler-friendly cinnamon apples
- Make-ahead options including mashed potatoes
- Easy pumpkin pie and cupcakes
Or, you can go in and remove recipes and customize the shopping list on the Thanksgiving meal plan post itself. Lots of options to find ways to make big holidays a little easier on all of us!
